Each year, the company has grown - expanding its team of trusted trades, supervisors, and managers - while staying true to its founding vision: to be the specialised builder that insurers and clients reach out to in times of need.

Our Story

Pirelli Building Group was founded by Director Phil Altarelli, a qualified carpenter and licenced builder who brings hands-on experience and a deep passion for the trade. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship, Phil built his own team of apprentices and steadily grew his business through larger and more complex projects - including successful property developments.

Following his honeymoon travelling through South America (and catching the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil!), Phil returned to Victoria and began working with a local loss adjuster. He quickly recognised a gap in the industry: the need for experienced, highly skilled builders to lead insurance repair work with the same level of professionalism and accountability found in new construction.
